When are we going to start a new ARG forum for LostUniversity/roniemidfewarts/dcpb

:)

(I know it's early, since it isn't confirmed yet, but I am betting it will be a need in a few weeks max

How about "The Last ARG" or "The Final ARG"

I've asked about this already in the Lostpedia Suggestions forum. They said no, not until September 22nd. And it'll probably be named Lost University :)

See my thinking is that there may be pieces in the "Mysteries of the Universe" webisodes, something is happening on 8/15 over at dcpb, a new vid of him raiding the production offices is pending, and we now have roniemidfewarts making waves.

Waiting until 9/22 when LostU opens for registration is the equivalent of not acknowledging GlobalOctagonRecruiting (sorry if that is a sore subject, it disappointed me too) until after testing began.

It's the last season, we know this is coming, and things are already happening. Start the subforum OK??

I agree with Reverendmilo: there should be a new subforum. I do think however, that only what's going on with Paul Scheer and Ronie Midfew Arts is the real ARG of this last hiatus.

Lost University is just something TPTB came up with because of the end of the show: it looks back at Lost from a scientific/educational viewpoint and will also be included on DVD's and Blu-Ray.

Mysteries of the Universe has probably been developed because Darlton knows season 6 won't provide many answers about DHARMA. With most of the DHARMA questions answered in season 5 and these segments (also to be included on the season 5 boxset), the audience can look forward to seeing the 'more important' questions being answered in season 6.

The new subforum should probably be called Damon, Carlton and a Polar Bear. We don't know how long Ronie Midfew Arts will be involved in this ARG, but Paul Scheer and his website will be around right until the season 6 premiere:

Paul Scheer is a comedian who lives in Los Angeles dedicating the next 6 months of his career to creating original black velvet art based on the TV show, "Lost."

Well, considering they are calling it "Lost University" and there is already merchandise with the LU stuff on it...I say..."Lost Tricked Me into Buying Their Blu-ray By Faking an ARG". :p

Don't care what it's called, but need a place to discuss the developing info without having to tag everything "spoiler". (Is that OK on this subforum?) Like the picture shown on Widmore Fine Arts and the name of the first 2 eps of season 6 discovered by Paul Scheer. Should be doing that as it happens I think.

undoubtedly, I think I am going to start a new poll thread for the name.

DocArtz is acknowledging it as a new ARG:

I wish they would talk to the Lostpedia Blog team, because that is all that the Blog has been about for the past several entries:

I don't really understand the big problem with discussing it here, and starting threads here, until a new sub-forum is started. I'm just saying.

I guess you don't understand my comment about it being bad Dharma Karma to work on the new ARG in the FAILED ARG forum.

Is it too much to expect Lostpedia forums to accept that the new ARG has started?

Last official word from a mod was that they would create it around September 22nd. That is not very supportive of the Lost fanbase IMHO especially as this is the final season and the final ARG.

to quote you, I'm just saying

I fully understood your comment...I just thought it was something of a joke. I guess not.

Given that a mod has responded to this topic, I was assuming that they're discussing it--especially given the fact that the original response in the suggestion thread was given before Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear had really started.

As for Doc Arzt acknowledging it before LP, which you mentioned above, I think that's probably because he's apparently being incorporated into the story.

I don't disagree with you that it should be its own topic--but as we wait for that to happen, why shouldn't we discuss what's happening?

as I said, bad dharma karma.

But if it is the only way to get them to create a subforum, then thread create I shall. Hope you join me.
