Wow!
I just took this book on vacation and only read half the short stories so far and I'm very impressed. I've never really been big on short stories but these characters rope me in immediately. And it helps that the stories have similar themes. It's definitely a book that just asking to be discussed in a group.
The stories are mostly about these intense family relationships with philosophical differences. I haven't yet, but I want to try to find a website that discusses this book from a real literary point of view. It's an intense book.
Has anybody else given this a read?
Oh, and as far as Lost goes it completely makes sense that Jacob would be reading it given its family themes and Jacobs obvious interest in people.
