Well, this is something you could help me about. I know I am not the only one of the opinion that "Lapidus" in fact is Lipides (or maybe Lypides)... I have searched in abc.com for the official spell but cannot find it. :confused:

Hi slyce! Biblical greek (the Koine) is quite similar to the modern greek. Especially in places like Cyprus and Krete, the way they speak greek is closer to those years:)

However I hope you don't use the erasmian pronunciation! It's absolutely fake! :eek:

Well, nova channel leaves it as is, lost. ERT channel calls it αγνοούμενοι -(missing).

In unofficial subtitling you will see it as χαμένοι-hameni but that may sound a bit funny. If someone ever calls you hamene they may not mean you are lost in an island:D:
