Okay so this is inspired from Chubbs's Confirmed Awesome. It's essentially the same thing, except it's more organized. There will be two options in each poll. No "undecided" option. This is a 64 character field which will be divided into 4 regions. The four regions are "The Swan", "The Hydra", "The Pearl", and "The Orchid". The names of the regions have nothing to do with those characters in the region. They're just names.

The 64 characters included as of right now are listed below. I open this thread mainly for discussion as to who you think should be in the field, not how you think they should be seeded. If you see anyone who should not be there or someone who is not there but should be, let me know and I will make changes as I see fit. Once the field is determined the characters will be seeded into 4 regions of 1-16. 1 will face 16, 2 will face 15 and so on and so forth. Then we start voting. Each poll will be open for one calendar day.

I realize that this has been done before (by The Washington Post I think?) but it really wasn't fair the way they had the regions divided up. They had a Flight 815 survivors region, which meant that Jack, Locke, Sayid, Sawyer, Kate, etc. had to face EACH OTHER on the way to the Final Four. These regions rank characters by popularity and importance, not by their relationship to the island, which makes for a more even, fairer, bracket.

Here's the top 64 as of right now. When a character goes to gray they are eliminated from the tournament.

As of right now the 1 seeds would be the top 4. The two seeds would be the next second set of four and so on and so forth.

You might as well just make this a 16-person bracket..
