I'm thinking Locke sends over these folks to get Jin back from Widmore so he can chat one-on-one with Jack, seeing as he's the man who needs a lot more convincing at this point.
how does locke let all the people he needed to recruit cross over to Enemy island unsupervised/unprotectedd? !!!
I think he's sending them over there to get Jin back. Similar to how the Temple folk had to listen to the candidates, maybe Widmore is prevented from harming any of them as well. Plus, Widmore obviously needs the candidates as well, so it's kind of like MIB is sending them over with hostile intentions to force the next action of the game into his hands, so to speak...Originally Posted by four4elements
