Great! I loved the reference to the crushed dural sac. Wasn't it the situation Jack had in the OR when he had to count to five? Everything seems to be mirrored. Awesome! I am still wondering if Locke in the sideways had a glimpse of the OR.

And alas, I don't know when I will watch the episode for I am in hospital next week.

It's Dural sac ("The membranous sac that encases the spinal cord within the bony structure of the vertebral column. Dural refers to the dura, the name of the membrane around the spinal cord (and brain, too).") Drill sac sounds like a DIY accessory.

Good luck in hospital. It's not St Sebastian's, Los Angeles by any chance?

Sorry for the wrong wording. Thanks for correcting it.

And for the hospital, no not L.A., only Düsseldorf (Germany) *lol*

This is pretty subtle, but I picked up on Jack's pronunciation of the word 'candidate' in the sneak peak. If I'm not mistaken he used the alternate pronunciation of the word, (last syllable pronounced 'dit' as shown in my Webster's Dictionary) as opposed to the pronunciation we have seen in the Island timeline, where everyone has pronouced the last syllable as 'dat' with a long a.

Another subtle reference to this being the alternate universe?

I suppose he means candidate for some sort of spinal repair surgery.

But yeah, this episode should be a good one.
This, play on words on Jack's part. Just another 'wink wink' to connect the alt to the OR.
name one other person you know that has a functioning chainsaw arm
