Letting Go is epic. It is now a rule that all emotional ending Giacchino tracks be called something in the vein of "Moving On"/"Letting Go"

Edit: found it on iTunes, tis awesome.
Haha yes, the next big thing he does should have a track named ''Remembering'' or something like that.

21 tracks from the soundtrack have been uploaded to YouTube already, but I won't link it because that would be bad. It's the ''Super 8 Suite'' that I want to hear!

    Spoiler Below
    It's on SpeedTeenie's channel

Btw, I did a little experiment with the ''Letting Go'' track.

Oh definitely. In fact, (this probably belongs in the "what do you miss about LOST" thread) I think the thing I miss the most about LOST is the music. Just the Giacchino epicness.

Oh nice . Definitely gives it a more sad tone, I like it.

How did you isolate the dialogue in the beginning?

Thanks! I just turned off the sound at the parts where there's no dialogue (which is not really fun, but oh well) so all you hear are the parts where they say something. In some of those parts you can still hear the original music. I made another video with different music before so it wasn't a lot of work this time.

Now that I mention it, here's the music I used for that video:

It's basically the most beautiful version of Life and Death I've ever heard.

It's fun how I'm the only one posting in here.

So, it turns out this is Michael Giacchino as he sounded before JJ Abrams discovered him:

Apparently I had heard of him before watching LOST, lol

There's a cool hour and a half long conversation between Giacchino and Abrams here:

Gotta include a tribute to Giacchino in this thread:

I am a huge fan as well. I have most of the Lost soundtracks that I listen to all the time. "Moving On" from the End is my favorite. I love the way he enhances the scenes & really draws you in. He definitely helped make LOST the amazing show it was.
"If we can't live together... we're going to die alone."

"Oh awesome. The ship sent us another Sawyer."

"You're just not looking at the big picture, Doc. You're still back in civilization. Me? I'm in the wild."
